Nagpur: One worker was killed, and several others were seriously injured after a blast at Shreeji Blocks Private Limited in Mauda on Tuesday. The exact reason behind the blast couldn’t be determined immediately.

The Mauda Police and Fire Department squads rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation.

Shreeji Blocks Private Limited is a manufacturing firm located on Nagpur-Bhandara Road near Mauda. On Tuesday, some workers were engaged in work when the blast occurred, killing one Nandakishore Karande. Six to seven other workers were injured in the incident.
