Nagpur: A 40-year-old man who had suffered critical injuries in a road accident near Khapri Old Toll Naka on Wardha Road succumbed during treatment on Friday night.

The deceased, Sunil Kishor Uike, a resident of Gawandipura, Old Sakkardara, was found injured after meeting with an accident while riding his motorcycle (MH 32 AZ 7428) around 12 noon on November 16 within Beltarodi Police Station limits. Locals rushed him to Medical Hospital Trauma Centre for urgent treatment.

However, despite efforts, doctors declared him dead at 10:30 pm on November 20. Acting on the medical intimation, PSI Ghodke registered an accidental death case at Beltarodi Police Station. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the mishap.
