Nagpur: A shocking incident unfolded in the Wathoda area late Saturday evening when a 21-year-old youth was brutally killed with sharp-edged weapons near a lawn in Shailesh Nagar. The victim, identified as Sitaram alias Kalya Bablu Wanjari, a resident of Suraj Nagar, was attacked and murdered by two individuals, including a teenage boy.
Sources reveal that Sitaram had a longstanding enmity with one of the accused, Rajababu alias Raju Sahebrao Gupta (22), who also resides in Suraj Nagar. Sitaram had allegedly threatened to kill Rajababu, using obscene language during their dispute. Fearing for his life, Rajababu, along with the juvenile, decided to act first. They reportedly confronted Sitaram near the lawn in Shailesh Nagar, dragged him into nearby bushes, and repeatedly stabbed him, resulting in his death
Upon receiving information, officers from Wathoda Police Station, led by Senior PI Harish Borade, rushed to the scene. The body was sent to the Government Medical College & Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Both Rajababu and the juvenile have been apprehended by the police and are in custody as investigations continue into the brutal crime.
