Nagpur: An unidentified woman aged around 52–53 years was found dead after being hit by a train under the Mankapur railway bridge on Sunday morning. The incident was discovered between pole numbers 1038/25 and 27 in the Taj Nagar area under Mankapur Police jurisdiction.

Police said the body was spotted lying beneath the bridge, and a team immediately reached the location. The remains were shifted to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem and further procedure. Efforts to identify the deceased are underway.

The accidental death was reported based on the information provided by Prashant Arun Ramtekkar (37) of Milind Nagar, Pachpaoli. Mankapur Police registered an accidental death entry, and further investigation is ongoing to trace the woman’s identity and family.
