Nagpur: An unidentified man, aged around 30 years, was found lying unconscious outside Bhavana Steel Traders in Amar Nagar, MIDC area, late on Thursday night. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

According to police sources, the incident occurred between 10.30 pm on October 31 and 7 am on November 1. The deceased is described as dark-complexioned, of medium build, about 5 feet tall, with short hair, and a round face. He was wearing a yellow full-sleeve T-shirt and brick-coloured trousers, and had a yellow metal bangle and seven multicoloured threads tied on his right wrist.

The unconscious man was spotted by locals, who alerted police. He was immediately shifted to AIIMS Hospital, where medical authorities pronounced him dead.

Based on the report filed by Sonu Champalal Shahu (32), a resident of Amar Nagar, MIDC Police have registered a case of accidental death (AD). The investigation, led by PSI Sargar, is underway to ascertain the cause of death and establish the man’s identity.
