Nagpur: A tragic incident occurred on Saturday, October 12, when two 14-year-old boys drowned at Mohgaon Zilpi Lake within the Hingna Police Station jurisdiction. The victims, Virsen Vithoba Gajbhiye, a resident of Plot No. 4, Old Wasti, Dighori, and Gaurav Liladhar Burde, from Ramna Maroti Nagar, Nandanwan, were part of a group of 7 to 8 friends who had gone out for a walk.

While swimming in the reservoir, both Virsen and Gaurav lost their balance and drowned. Local residents rushed to help and managed to retrieve their bodies from the water.

Following the incident, the boys' parents, Vithoba Manik Gajbhiye, 52, lodged a complaint with the Hingna Police Station. Sub-Inspector D. Sarwar registered an accidental death report based on the information provided. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
