Nagpur: Tension gripped the Chunabhatti area on Saturday evening as rival groups loyal to political leader Munna Yadav and his kin-turned-rival Bala Yadav clashed, leading to several injuries. The altercation began at a garba venue, where Munna Yadav's sons, Karan and Arjun, had a heated argument with Bala Yadav's sons, which escalated into a violent confrontation.

After exchanging threats, both sides retreated to their respective areas, where the situation worsened. Sources revealed that Karan and Arjun were attacked by Bala's sons and their supporters, sparking a fierce counterattack. Several vehicles were damaged during the fight. 

Following the clash, both groups converged at Dhantoli police station, where another heated argument ensued, and a scuffle broke out. In the process, a police official was manhandled while attempting to diffuse the situation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rahul Madane rushed to the scene to take control of the situation. Reinforcements were called in to disperse the rival groups, and a strong police presence was deployed in the area to maintain order. 

The injured were shifted to different hospitals for treatment. Commissioner of Police (CP) Ravinder Singal assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible, and offences were being registered against both parties at Dhantoli police station as investigations continued.
