Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will celebrate 'Aapli Bus Digital Ticket Day' on August 5 to promote the online city bus mobile ticketing service among commuters. The civic body recently launched the 'Chalo App,' enabling passengers to purchase Aapli Bus tickets online via the mobile application.
On August 5, students and citizens will be encouraged to use the digital ticketing system for cashless transactions. The goal is to achieve over 20,000 digital UPI transactions and M-Tickets on this day. Approximately 150 employees will be deployed to assist passengers with digital payments for bus tickets. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari recently launched the 'Chalo App' for online ticketing of city buses, along with an online bus pass application process. Passengers can also pay for their passes online. These services aim to benefit users of the 'Aapli Bus' system, making daily commutes easier and more efficient.
To use the Chalo App, people can download it from the Google Play Store, install it, and follow the instructions to purchase M-Tickets and online passes. Required documents include a school or college bonafide certificate, an ID card, an Aadhaar card, and a passport-sized photo.
