Nagpur: Housebreaking in Nandanvan House; As Family Asleep

Nagpur: A burglary was reported in Nandanvan’s Swaraj Vihar Colony, where a thief broke into a senior citizen’s home and stole valuables worth ₹3.36 lakh here, on Thursday, January 23.
According to the complainant, 63-year-old Somnath Pandit Goswami, the incident occurred around 5:30 AM. While he was asleep on the ground floor of his house, an unidentified individual climbed the rear compound wall, entered the upper floor through an unlocked door, and accessed the bedroom. The culprit stole gold jewelry and a pen drive from an almirah before escaping.
Following the complaint, Nandanvan Police registered a case under Sections 305(A) and 331(3) of the BNS. Efforts to identify and apprehend the accused are ongoing.
