Nagpur: Burglary Reported in Koradi Home as Family Attends Wedding; Cash, Ornaments Worth ₹2.9 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: Thieves targeted a locked residence in Smruti Nagar under Koradi Police Station limits, stealing valuables worth ₹2.9 lakh while family was out for a wedding.
According to police sources, between April 6 and April 15, the complainant Nashim Munna Siddiqui (35) had gone out of town with his family to attend a wedding. During their absence, unidentified miscreants broke the main door lock and entered the house. They decamped with ₹1.6 lakh in cash and gold and silver ornaments from the bedroom.
Based on the complaint, Koradi Police registered a case under BNS Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) against unidentified individuals.
