Nagpur: In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has scheduled a crucial meeting of its Vidarbha division’s key office bearers with Union Home Minister Amit Shah participating in the programme here, on Tuesday, September 24.
The meeting will take place at the Suresh Bhat Auditorium, Reshimbagh, starting at 11 AM. The gathering aims to finalize the party's election strategy for Vidarbha’s 62 constituencies.
In this context, a special meeting was called by Dr. Upendra Kothekar, BJP’s Vidarbha Regional Secretary, at the Vidarbha Regional Office in Dhantoli.
BJP State Vice President Sanjay Bhende and City President Bunty Kukde shared that Home Minister Amit Shah, regarded as the party's chief strategist, will engage in a direct dialogue with Vidarbha's key leaders and provide strategic guidance.
Prominent figures like Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule will also be present at the meeting.
Bhende further added that BJP’s national and state office bearers, state front and alliance presidents, district in-charges, former and current MPs and MLAs, former and current chairpersons of seven BJP divisions, district council and municipal corporation presidents, mayors, and other prominent functionaries from Vidarbha have been invited to the meeting.
Notable attendees at the preparatory meeting included MLA Pravin Datke, Dr. Upendra Kothekar, Sanjay Bhende, Dharmapal Meshram, General Secretary Vishnu Chahande, Guddu Trivedi, Sandeep Gawai, Ashwini Jichkar, Ram Ambulkar, and BJP spokesperson Chandan Goswami.
