Nagpur: A burglary occurred between September 7 and September 10, 2024, at a residence on Plot No. 40, Godhni Road, Zingabai Takli, under the jurisdiction of Mankapur Police Station. The complainant, Vilas Prabhakar Yemade (42), had locked his house and traveled to his native village, Banabakoda in Chhindwara, along with his family.
Upon returning, Yemade discovered that unknown miscreants had broken the lock on the main door, entered the house, and stolen valuables from the bedroom's wooden wardrobe. The stolen items include ₹600 in cash and gold and silver jewelry, with a total estimated value of ₹1.48 lakh.
Based on Yemade's complaint, Police Sub-Inspector Kamble of Mankapur Police Station has registered a case against unknown individuals under sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. The investigation is ongoing to identify and apprehend the culprits.
