Nagpur: A 22-year-old youth drowned in a swimming pool while attending a birthday party at a farmhouse under Wathoda Police Station limits here, on Wednesday, April 30.

The deceased, Pranjal Nitin Rawale, a resident of Chandramani Nagar, Ajni, had gone to Golden Valley Farmhouse in Pandhurna village on April 29 at around 10 PM to celebrate his friend’s birthday. Between 2 AM and 3 AM on April 30, Rawale reportedly fell ill while swimming. He was rushed to Government Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Based on a preliminary medical report, Wathoda Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Further investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident.
